Hey There!

I'm Niki Jackson. This journey for me began years ago as a young girl spending days in my grandmother's salon where my mom was also a hairstylist. I witnessed them make the most beautiful hair transformations and I just knew that I wanted to follow in their footsteps. So, after graduating high school in Baton Rouge, La., I attended cosmetology school and  received my license. After 15+ years, my passion for hair styling has only expanded.

Healthy, gorgeous looking hair is my main goal for all my clients. Whether it's a custom color, a flowy silk press or a polished up-do, I strive to execute each with detail and precision, creating a look that will compliment their lifestyle and overall vision. 

 

Education is an absolute must for me, as I love learning new techniques and trends to hone my craft. I make a point to attend educational classes throughout the year with industry leading artists and brands. One of my proudest hair accomplishments is styling backstage for New York Fashion Week shows, and New York Fashion Week: Bridal shows alongside Marcello Costa and Team MC.

When I'm not behind the chair at The Hair Parlor, I'm fulfilling another passion as a runway model, or I'm just kicked back with a bowl of ice cream, watching a good movie.
